As Helen Keller said” A lone,we can do so little
Together,we can do so much” . So we came together to form a solution driven local organization focused on sustainable development.
About Us
WANGARI VOLUNTEERS: is a non-profit organization founded by volunteers who were born and raised in rural villages and small towns of Ethiopia. With firsthand experience of the hardships faced by smallholder farmers and rural families, we came together to form a solution-driven organization focused on sustainable development. We are the sons and daughters of smallholder farmers. We grew up in the rural countryside, witnessing the tireless efforts of our parents and neighbors—working day and night using simple tools, oxen, and manual labor. Despite their hard work, the return was always small, leaving families exposed to hunger for months each year.
